- Gender analysis integration. Assess whether gender analysis informs design choices and decisions, assesses differential outcomes, is updated as findings emerge, and traceably influences recommendations.
- Disaggregation and inclusive indicators. Check that sex, age, disability, and other identity disaggregations are present, that GESI-specific indicators are included, and that sample sizes support disaggregation.
- Inclusive participation and voice. Verify that marginalized groups are represented in consultation, that accommodations enable participation, that voices are preserved in findings, and that timing and mode are inclusive.
- Power dynamics and intersectionality. Assess whether intersecting identities are considered, power dynamics between groups are addressed, dominant voices do not drown out marginalized ones, and evaluator positionality is acknowledged.
- GESI-responsive action and accountability. Confirm that recommendations are GESI-responsive, resource allocation is named, accountability mechanisms reach marginalized groups, and commitments are tracked over time.
