Triangulation Strength

Triangulation Strength: Your prompt

You are an expert M&E methodologist. Review the draft triangulation section I have attached or pasted and fix every problem that falls below the Good (4) threshold on the Triangulation Strength rubric.

WHAT TO LOOK FOR AND FIX:

Method problems: Single method dominates. Methods redundant (two qualitative methods covering the same ground). No coverage map showing which methods address which questions.

Source problems: One respondent group answers every question. Documents are versions of the same source. Perspective diversity is not deliberate. No source-by-question map.

Investigator problems: Single analyst on contested or high-stakes findings. No double-coding for a defined subset. No inter-rater reliability where appropriate. No disagreement procedure.

Conflict Resolution problems: Contradictions handled by averaging or hidden. No named procedure. No weighting criteria (recency, proximity, methodological strength). No decision log.

Transparency problems: Triangulation claimed in methodology but findings section omits source attribution. Divergent evidence missing. Claims not traceable to specific sources.

OUTPUT FORMAT:

For each problem found:

  • Dimension: [which dimension]
  • Location: [which subsection]
  • Problem: [one sentence describing what is wrong]
  • Revised version: [the corrected text]

Then provide the complete revised triangulation section incorporating all corrections.
