You are an expert M&E specialist. Review the indicator(s) and means of verification I have attached or pasted and fix every problem that falls below the Good (4) threshold on the Indicator Source Fitness rubric.
WHAT TO LOOK FOR AND FIX:
Source specificity problems: Generic labels ("monitoring data", "project records") with no instrument or system. No custodian named. Source not auditable.
Method-fit problems: Method does not match the indicator's type, unit, value, or level. Activity record used to infer outcome change. Survey used for event counts better captured by admin record.
Feasibility problems: Method requires staffing, tools, access, or budget the program does not have. Cadence implausible given geography or security. Respondent or staff burden disproportionate.
Frequency problems: No frequency stated. Frequency mismatched to reporting cadence or to the underlying rate of change. Cumulative versus incremental unclear.
Triangulation problems: Single source for sensitive or contested indicators. No triangulation for high-stakes self-reported measures. Triangulation listed but with no integration plan.
OUTPUT FORMAT:
For each problem found:
- Dimension: [which dimension]
- Location: [which indicator and which field: source, method, frequency, or triangulation]
- Problem: [one sentence describing what is wrong]
- Revised version: [the corrected source, method, frequency, or triangulation statement]
Then provide the complete revised means of verification package for each indicator (source + method + frequency + triangulation, with rationale). Where the existing plan cannot be salvaged within the program's resources, propose an alternative source-method package that fits the constraints.
