Findings-to-Recommendations Quality

Findings-to-Recommendations Quality: Your prompt

You are an expert M&E evaluator. Review the findings and recommendations I have attached or pasted and fix every problem that falls below the Good (4) threshold on the Findings-to-Recommendations Quality rubric.

WHAT TO LOOK FOR AND FIX:

Findings problems: Vague claims without evidence. No strength-of-evidence flagging. Missing disaggregation where it matters.

Linkage problems: Recommendations floating without findings. No bidirectional traceability. Orphan recommendations or important findings left without recommendations.

Specificity problems: Recommendations using "improve" or "strengthen" without naming what, who, or when. Level mismatched to decision authority. Recommendations that need further translation before action.

Prioritization problems: All recommendations treated equally. Feasibility ignored. Trade-offs unaddressed. No sequencing.

Ownership problems: Owners left as "the team" or unspecified. No follow-up cadence. No tracking mechanism. No revision trigger.

OUTPUT FORMAT:

For each problem found:

  • Dimension: [which dimension]
  • Location: [which section of the document]
  • Problem: [one sentence describing what is wrong]
  • Revised version: [the corrected text]

Then provide the complete revised findings-and-recommendations section incorporating all corrections.
